What a great story!! Interesting take on manipulator!Dumbledore, as well as James' arrogance. I, too, thought the "other boy" must have been Severus.

Would love to see a sequel. Maybe Severus is Potions Master at Beauxbatons instead of Hogwarts, in your universe?
